The Army Reserve Center is a new, single story, 20,833 square foot, LEED Silver building located in close proximity to the Pease Air National Guard Base in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
The building provides sufficient space and up-to-date furnishings and equipment to support the activities of the Using Units full-time and Army Reserve personnel. The facility, designed in accordance with the Department of Defense Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings, consists of two buildings and associated site improvements, which include a Training Center, Military Equipment and Privately Owned Vehicle parking, and an Unheated Storage building.
The Training Center houses recruiting and administrative spaces as well as classrooms, study areas, kitchen and dining facilities, assembly/drill hall, physical training center, locker rooms, weapons simulator, mail services, SIPRNET cafe, arms vault, and caging for unit gear storage. The building also includes provisions for flammable storage and control waste storage.
